What makes the experience at Whispering Pines different from other spas?  
Whispering Pines is an eco-friendly wellness spa, incorporating green practices into every aspect of its business, including the use of all-natural and organic products in all treatments.

Why is this important?  
The lotions, oils and skin care products used at most spas contain potentially harmful chemicals, some of which are believed to cause cancer, reproductive or neurological problems.  The last thing you should worry about while relaxing at a spa is whether the products being used in your services might be hazardous to your health. At Whispering Pines, we research every product we use or sell to ensure that it's safe and beneficial, and that the companies we work with use natural, organic and eco-friendly business practices. 

Eco-Friendly Practices
      - We are a dry spa: though we sacrifice the luxury of saunas & showers,
         we save an incredible amount of water.
      - When possible, we use washable towels to minimize paper products in our treatment rooms.
      - The linens we use include quick-drying nylon, natural fabrics like cotton, and recycled fabrics.
      - We do all laundry in-house using only organic and eco-friendly laundry products and cleaners.
      - We use all-natural cleaning products.
      - We utilize certified organic ingredients when possible; the remainder of our ingredients are either
         wild-crafted or all-natural.
      - We order supplies in bulk, if available to minimize waste

Restricted Ingredients
      - We will never use or sell products that contain any of the following ingredients: parabens, phthalates,
         petroleum, sulfates,  petrochemicals, formaldehyde, mineral oil, talc, artificial dyes or colors, artificial
         fragrances, harsh preservatives, other  harmful ingredients.

Beneficial Products and Partners
      - We only use and sell products that contain only the finest possible organic, natural and beneficial    
         ingredients, and have not been tested on animals.
      - We strive to partner with vendors and suppliers that employ eco-friendly and sustainable business
         practices, and support Fair Trade businesses whenever possible.
